- Download and install the Data Transfer Utility on the primary computer through Intuit Marketplace, which will host your company file.
- Then, copy your company file from the secondary computer to the primary computer. By doing so, you can save your company's file to the disk and transfer it to the source computer of your network.
- To sync information to your destination file, you have to launch QuickBooks on your Primary computer. Then open the company file from the secondary computer by clicking "File," "Open or Restore Company," and then select “Open a Company."
- Tap on the "Open-Source Company" button in the "Export Data from Source Company" sections in the Data Transfer Utility.
- Select Yes Even when QuickBooks is not running or check the option to allow the application to access personal data. Click to the Continue, yes in QuickBooks.
- Tap on the "Close" button in the Currently connected field at the time of data transfer utility
- Click on the "File" menu and select "Close Company" in QuickBooks.

- Click on the "Close Button for the" Currently Connected To "field” in Data Transfer Utility.
- Click on the File Menu and choose "Close Company" in QuickBooks.
- Click on the "Change” button in the "Select Type of Data" field in the data transfer utility. Choose the option that you think best reflects the information you want to import into the Destination file.
- Finally, select the "Import data" button in the "Import Data into Destination" section of the data transfer utility. It syncs the information from both computers. When you finish with this, delete the secondary source file from your primary computer.
